On Thursday November 10th, AIFL’s Israel Day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) marked the country’s unparalleled advancements and presented Israel’s extraordinary prominence on Wall Street, now ranking the largest foreign presence outside of just China and Canada.
“The level of Israeli equities listed on Wall Street is yet another example of Israeli innovation and the strong US-Israel relationship,” said Daniella Rilov, Executive Director of the AIFL. “Not only are we recognizing these outstanding companies at Israel Day, but the event is also honoring four Israeli women leaders, because Israel, like the United States, celebrates its gender diversity. The day is an example of just a few of the common traits both countries have.”
Welcome remarks were delivered by: AIFL Chairman, Kenneth J. Bialkin; AIFL Israel Chairman Ambassador Dan Gillerman; NYSE Global Head of Listings, John Tuttle; General Manager of SOSA NY and founder of Israeli Mapped in NY Guy Franklin and Consul General of Israel in New York, Ambassador Dani Dayan.

The program featured two segments. The first was a salute to leading Israeli businesswomen who have established a substantial track record of success and achievements in their field of expertise. They also have contributed significantly to US – Israel relationships in field of business, economy, science and high-tech.
Inbal Orpaz, a correspondent for the Israeli business newspaper, The Marker, moderated, a panel discussion with: Tzameret Fuerst, Co-Founder and former CEO of Circ MedTech, which developed PrePex, an FDA-approved device for HIV protection; Karen Haruvi, Sr. Vice President of Global Generic Business Development and Alliance Management for Teva Pharmaceuticals, Ltd; Liat Mordechay Hertanu, Co-Founder and CMO 24me and Noa Raviv, acclaimed fashion designer and artist.
The second was a session hosted by BlueStar Indexes, “Capital Markets & Investment Trends for Israeli Publicly-listed Companies.” and include of a prestigious panel active in Israeli investing.
