Harvard Law School Delegation led by Jen Shulkin and Brandon Levey: March 8 – 19

Event Date: March 8, 2017

The primary objective of this leadership mission is to introduce a carefully selected group of Harvard Law students to the land and people of Israel.

The mission will focus primarily on the security, diplomatic, and political challenges facing the State of Israel as well as the unique connection between the Jewish people and the land of Israel. Participants will also learn about the importance of a strong relationship between the United States and Israel and will consider their role in helping to strengthen that relationship – both now and in the future.

The mission is not designed to advance any particular political position beyond affirming Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish democracy within secure and recognized borders. By educating future leaders about the importance of the U.S. – Israel relationship, the mission will play a role in helping to shape future U.S. policy in the Middle East. The mission will also have an impact on the debate about Israel on the Harvard campus by exposing a diverse group of student leaders to the realities of modern Israel.
