THEME: Our World, Our Home, Our Future
Youth ambassadors discussed and debated the topics that will continue to affect us and as future leaders they approached the issues of the environment and climate change, racism, human rights from both the American and Israeli perspectives as they affect the allies.
They received pearls of wisdoms from leaders from various fields of expertise, Rabbi Joseph Potasnik who shared his personal 9/11 story and the historical significance of those events on current security measures, national security, border control and cyber security. FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn encourage youth ambassadors not to be afraid step out of their comfort zone, embrace change and its ability to propel growth and leadership.
Having enjoyed home hospitality experiences in both countries the conclusion was unanimous that our differences religious and cultural make us beautiful and unique while our personal similarities show us that we are more alike than we are different.
