Disability Accessibility & Advocacy Webinar

Creating better accessibility for all of our citizens has always been a challenge. With the mass move to online communications and other recent consequences of the pandemic, we can now envision and implement a stronger disability-inclusive society.

This panel will include leading advocates, from Israel and the U.S., with lived experience in advancing disability accessibility. Join us for this fascinating discussion about the resiliency of this community and to explore these questions:
  • What can abled people learn from the disability community through the pandemic?
  • Have the governments in Israel and the U.S. been inclusive of the disability community in their planning for pandemic preparation or response?
  • What self-care strategies have the disability community used to combat the isolation of quarantine and how can we grow from this experience?
  • How has the pandemic created more opportunities for disability inclusion?
