Setting the Holiday Table: A Recipe for Giving

This winter holiday season around the world presents new challenges for food insecure communities. In Israel and the U.S., community-based organizations in Philadelphia, Chicago and Tel Aviv are preparing to continue their traditions to bring some holiday cheer and provide food for those with need. Join us to learn about these initiatives from community, educational and professional kitchens that are addressing these challenges all year and providing light during the darkest time of the year.

Learn about:

  • Bialik Rogozin School, Tel Aviv – Serving refugee student families from Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities
  • MANNA, Philadelphia – Providing nutritious meals that are medically tailored for each recipient in collaboration with Gladwyne Presbyterian Church and other multi-faith partners
  • Chef Lamar J. Moore, Chicago – Partnering with World Central Kitchens to prepare and distribute meals in their community
