Lecture & Q & A with Bassem Eid

Political analyst and human rights activist, Bassem Eid was hosted by the America-Israel Friendship League and the New York of Rabbis on Monday, March 5th.

Bassem shared his personal experience growing up in an UNRWA refugee camp and his extensive research of their policies and calls for to reform the organization. He spoke of being a ‘marked man’ vehemently having openly criticizing the BDS movement as being self-serving while putting the spotlight on the internal problems of Palestinians and the human rights violations under the Palestinian Authority. He condemned the militarization of Palestinian children and debasement of educational curricula that dehumanize them.
