We bring stories of technological and social innovations that emanate from Israel and which have an impact upon the world we live in
In 2019 AIFL launched the Webinar series “Israeli Dreamers Who Dare,” designed to bring stories of technological and social innovations that emanate from Israel and which have an impact upon the world we live in. Our first webinar, “Beresheet, Israelis’ Reach to the Moon” brought the story of Israel’s space craft, the world’s first privately funded moon launch. Our panel situated in Tel-Aviv, consisted of the founders of SpaceIL, the engineers who conceived of the operation over beer at a bar, and Morris Khan, who led the commercial funding of the organization. Subsequent webinars were conducted in partnership with the Tel Aviv Foundation, telling the story of Tel Aviv, the Smart City, the Innovation City and the Fun City; the Jerusalem Foundation, telling the story of modern Jerusalem and with IsraAid live from the Bahamas conducting a humanitarian assistance mission.
