Cybersecurity: Critical Infrastructure – Trends and Threats, Strategies and Solutions

More Connectivity Means More Vulnerability:The new reality is that almost all critical infrastructures operate in a digital environment --as we all do. While the information technology landscape has greatly evolved, so have vulnerabilities and threats. The rise of smart homes, smart buildings, cryptocurrencies and more provide new points of attack for sophisticated cyber terrorists which include nation states and organized criminals. In the digital ecosystem, critical infrastructure has become the preferred target for both cyberwarfare and cybercrime. The world took notice when a cyber attacker breached a Florida water treatment plant and tried to poison the water supply, along with the Colonial Pipeline debacle which caused fuel shortages across the eastern seaboard of the United States and forced four states to declare states of emergency. Both incidents are part of a growing ransomware trend in the U.S. and across the globe. Our panel of experts will discuss and explore among other burgeoning issues:*Should governments collaborate with private sector IT companies for more comprehensive strategies, solutions and framework for protection?*How can we identify the most at-risk sectors?*Looking to the future, including artificial intelligence and automating detection, new innovations in antivirus software, and encryption Streamed live, the program will feature: Amir SagieCyber Affairs Coordinator, Cyber Affairs and Emerging Technologies DepartmentDivision of Strategic Affairs Brig. Grilling & Smoking For A Memorable Memorial Day Weekend

As we prepare to celebrate Memorial Day in the U.S. and honor military personnel who have died in the performance of duties while serving in the United States Armed Forces…we say, ‘Thank you for your service and your sacrifice.’ Today we also celebrate a time honored American culinary tradition. Memorial Day has also become known as the kickoff to all things summer and what’s more Americana in the summer than barbecue, whether you’re smoking or grilling. We are all about celebration during this webinar, we are celebrating the reopening of many of our great cities, the start of summer and the friendship between two great pitmasters and restauranteurs from opposites sides of the world. James Cruse, pitmaster and 2021 Memphis in May Barbecue World Champion (Ribs) and pioneering Israeli pitmaster Ziv Rudner are master chefs and restauranteurs at the top of their game who are coming together to show that great food can make great friends, wherever you are. They’ll each be putting their creative stamp on the recipe for Pulled Lamb. While lamb is not a traditional grilling meat here in the US, it is kosher and allows our chefs creative culinary genius to shine through. To make sure there’s no shiggin* the recipe will be shared with you during the webinar and upon request. So, grab an ale or your favorite beverage and join us as we follow the sweet scent of smoke to our pitmasters. *Fun Fact: What is shiggin? – The term used on the competition barbecue circuit to describe the practice of trying to learn winning pitmasters’ secret tricks, recipes or techniques.
