b'DR. EFRAT HARLEVDr. Efrat Bron-Harlev is the CEO of Schneider Childrens Medical Center. Since 2023, Dr. Harlev has beena member of the Academic Founding Group of the Faculty of Medicine at Reichman University. An officer in the Israeli Air Force from 1984-1987, Dr. Harlev completed her medical studies at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheba in 1993.Her internship was completed at Beilinson Hospital, and she began pediatric residency followed by a fellowship in pediatric critical care at Schneider Childrens Medical Center. Dr. Harlev was also a Wexner Fellow for an MPA degree at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in Boston, Massachusetts.Schneider Childrens Medical Center represents a microcosm of Israeli society in all its spheres. It is where we see the infinite spirit of giving, dedication and care every day, and the above and beyond that exemplifies our efforts both within the hospital and throughout the country.On October 1, 2020, she was appointed CEO of Schneider Childrens Medical Center of Israel and is currently a member of CHIEF (Childrens Hospitals International Executive Forum) & ECHO (European Childrens Hospitals Organization). Following her residency at Schneider, Dr. Harlev was a Senior Critical Care Physician in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. She also held posts as the Information Director of Clalit HMO and Medical Director of Electronic Medical Records for Clalits 14 hospitals. Between 2007 and 2019, she assumed roles as Deputy Director of Rabin Medical Center and of Schneider Childrens Medical Center, and was also Medical Director of Calits Northern District and the Director of Belinson Hospital.Dr. Harlev was born and raised in Jerusalem and isthe is the mother of four sons.'
